- Why should I book direct instead of through Airbnb or Vrbo?
- You skip the platform's guest service fee, and you are dealing with the owners directly. The calendar, the cabin and the house rules are exactly the same.
- Is a direct booking safe?
- Yes. Direct stays are processed by Hospitable, which handles secure payment, guest verification and damage protection. You will receive a confirmation and check-in details just like any other booking.
- What is the arcade?
- A full-size multicade cabinet loaded with 10,000 classic games, from the arcade classics to the fighting games and pinball tables. It is included with your stay and ready to play when you walk in.
- Tell me about the patio.
- It is a 21 by 26 foot gameday patio with an outdoor TV, a hot tub, string lights and a propane fire pit. The TV streams, so game day, movie night or the playoffs all work out there.
- Is the hot tub open year-round?
- Yes. It is cleaned and checked before every stay. Please shower before using it and keep glass off the patio.
- What are the local tastes?
- A welcome set of samples from Blue Ridge makers, usually local honey, olive oil and coffee, with seasonal extras. Everything in it can be found in town if you want to take some home.
- What are check-in and check-out times?
- Check-in is 4:00 PM and check-out is 10:00 AM. Ask us about early or late times; we can often help when there is no same-day turnover.
- How many guests can stay?
- Up to six, across the primary suite, the kids' loft with bunk beds and the lower-level bedroom. The cabin is on a septic system, so we keep this firm.
- Are pets allowed?
- Not at this time. Service animals are always welcome.
- Can we host an event or party?
- No. The cabin is for quiet stays, and the community road and septic system are not built for gatherings.
- How far is downtown Blue Ridge?
- Eight minutes by car. Grumpy Old Men Brewing is five minutes away and Bear Claw Vineyards is ten.
- Is there cell service and Wi-Fi?
- Wi-Fi is fast mesh throughout the cabin. Cell coverage in the mountains is patchy, so plan on Wi-Fi calling.
- What is the cancellation policy?
- The policy is shown on the booking page before you pay. If anything is unclear, email us before you book.
